Scope
The number of autonomously connected devices to the Internet is increasing as a result of the unprecedented increase in number of things and connected users. As a result, Internet of Things (IoT) is now considered as a major element of the existing and future Internet. Journal of IoT in Social Mobile Analytics and Cloud [JISMAC] is a comprehensive journal encouraging the collaboration between the researchers, practitioners and industrialists in the field of Internet of Things [IoT]. The journal offers a unique platform to discuss about the new developments and advances in different facets of Internet of Things [IoT] by considering smart devices, wireless sensors, communications networks, networking protocols, and computing models.
Journal of IoT in Social Mobile Analytics and Cloud [JISMAC] intends to provide innovative contributions to the research and development of IoT technology, regarding the design, development, analysis, implementation and evaluation of different models, algorithms, protocols, software development platforms, computing and networking architectures, as well as the real-time applications.
The journal not only addresses research topics related to Internet of Things but also covers the areas of wireless sensor networks, self-organizing systems, agent-based computing, autonomic networking, multi-sensor fusion, hybrid intelligent systems, network management paradigms (e.g. network virtualization, edge/fog computing) and state-of-the-art network enabling technologies such as deep learning, machine learning and big data analysis.
- Helps incorporate effective internet based wireless networking and applications
- Fosters interaction among academia and industrial communities to promote future IoT based research
- Publishes novel research articles, reviews, and correspondences from the IoT based research and development communities
